Hannah Ray | Iowa SUP River Surfing

The whitewater park in Charles City Iowa has got quite the wave and it's home to Werner Paddles athlete, Hannah Ray Childs. Along with some great surfing talent, what we love most about her is the fun she is having and the positive energy she brings to our sport.

SUP World Tour/Series Officially Rebrands

The newly-formed Association of Paddlesurf Professionals (APP), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Waterman League Group, announces a rebranding of the Stand Up World Series (Racing) and Stand Up World Tour (Surfing), to align under a new single banner, the APP World Tour.

Paddling and Painting On Ice

Hawaiian artist and muralist Sean Yoro (a.k.a. HULA), who stand up paddles to his canvasses, traveled to the arctic waters of Baffin Island, Nunavut, to paint a portrait of a local Inuit woman on the sea ice.

Event Aims To Push Limits of Downwind Racing

On Tuesday the 12th of January, a group of six stand up paddlers, invitee riders of the Paddle Storm Master event including the likes of Eric Terrien and Martin Letourneur, gathered for a crazy downwind in the “Rade de Brest, Brittany”, to try the first course option and the safety facilities before the official event.

Hanohano To Kick Off 2017 Race Season
