World’s Fastest Downwinder to Return to Australia

Final preparations are underway for Australia’s most prestigious Stand Up Paddle (SUP) race and the word’s fastest downwinder, the Stand Up Surf Shop King of the Cut. The seventh edition of the 24-kilometre Stand Up Surf Shop King of the Cut attracts some of the world’s best with competitors from Japan, Singapore, New Caledonia, Switzerland, Ireland and across Australia.

Top Athletes Prepare for ISA SUP Championships in China

The world's top SUP surfers, SUP racers, and Paddleboarders are preparing to compete in the 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship (WSUPPC) from November 23 - December 2 in Wanning, China - marking the first time the event has been held in Asia in its seven-year history.

Australian Paddleboarder Dies After Shark Attack

On Wednesday, November 6, 2018 a man vacationing in Australia’s Whitsundays Islands on the famous Great Barrier Reef was killed by a shark while paddle boarding with friends. The man was identified as 33-year-old Dr. Daniel Christidis.

Record Numbers Gather at 8th Annual Corinth Canal

On Sunday October 7th 2018, the vessel traffic in the Corinth Canal was interrupted for 434 paddlers, where they lined up just before the sinking bridge of Isthmia for the 8th Annual Corinth Canal SUP Crossing. This year the race was a milestone for the sport of SUP in Greece but also for the event itself.
