CARLSBAD, California - The world’s best stand up paddle boarders are set to compete at the first-ever Pacific Paddle Games presented by Salt Life this Saturday and Sunday at Doheny State Beach in the beautiful Dana Point, California. With a $55,000-prize purse on the line, the biggest prize ever offered in paddling, it’s no surprise that all the best in the world are en route to Southern California this week from Europe, Tahiti, Japan, Australia and all over the States. The forecast is looking solid as well with waves anticipated in the three-to-five foot (head high plus) range all weekend, which should make for an exciting and challenging event.

“With a sizable swell on the horizon and a competitor list featuring the best paddlers in the world, the inaugural Pacific Paddle Games will be an unforgettable event,” says SUP magazine editor-in-chief, Will Taylor.

Athletes confirmed for the Professional category include a bevy of world-class paddlers including world champions and many more:

  • Kai Lenny (Naish)
  • Danny Ching (FCS)

Vendors will include West Marine, BOGA Paddle & Surf Co., Desolation Outdoors, FCS/404, Hobie, Infinity, Riviera Paddlesurf, SIC, SUP ATX, and many more. The 2015 Pacific Paddle Games wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our sponsors and partners.
