After an overcast morning, the cloud lifted and Western Australia’s famous wind, the Fremantle Doctor, went to work with south-westerly winds that created challenging then fast conditions between 16 and 18 knots for the seventh annual Stand Up Surf Shop King of the Cut.

Australia’s ISA Domination Continues with 6th Team Gold Medal

Team Australia continued their reign atop the sports of StandUp Paddle (SUP) and Paddleboard to earn their sixth Gold Medal in seven years at the 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship in Wanning, China. The Gold Medal for Australia extends their win streak to three in a row and represents a historic first Gold in the event's history to be awarded in Asia.

USA Juniors Dominate & Technical Race Gold Medals Awarded at ISA China

On day two of the Technical SUP races it was Hungary's Daniel Hasulyo and USA's Candice Appleby who claimed Gold Medals in exciting fashion on the sixth day of competition at the 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship in Wanning, China. History was also made when team USA flexed their junior SUP talent and swept the first-ever Under-18 Technical Race Gold Medals. Jade Howson and Ryan Funk were respectively crowned World Champions in the Girls U-18 and Boys U-18 Divisions.

ISA SUP Technical Races Spark Action-Packed Day in Riyue Bay

The SUP Technical races sparked an action-packed fifth day of competition at the 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship at Riyue Bay in Wanning, China. The Men's and Women's Semifinals ran to qualify athletes for the Finals to take place on Wednesday, set to award the first racing medals of the event.
