Attending a standup paddle boarding event is one of the best ways to enjoy the sport. It’s the perfect place to be introduced to the sport as a spectator, it’s a great place to learn and try new products, and it’s also a great way to connect with those who enjoy the sport just as much as you do. Bay Bridge Paddle

bay bridge paddleWater enthusiasts of all ages and expertise are invited to join us at the Bay Bridge Paddle, open to SUP, Kayaks and other paddle craft. This race will bring together all levels of paddlers to share in a day of camaraderie and fellowship. Each race will present a different experience and challenge, the bay’s shifting conditions add to the fun as racers can experience anything from flat water glides to gusty winds and unpredictable swell and tides from the wind and current.

Animas River Days

animas river daysAnimas River Days includes these sporting events: river surfing, stand-up paddling, freestyle kayaking, boatercross, raft and kayak slalom, an inflatable rodeo and the local's favorite costumed river parade. Whether you are a newbie or a seasoned pro, Animas River Days' schedule of events will inspire you to live active, healthy lives while also keeping our rivers and environment clean and safe.

Gun Lake Paddle Battle

gun lake paddle battleFeeling competitive? or Just wanna have fun? Then join us for the 2nd annual Gun Lake Paddle Battle! Paddle your SUP or kayak as a beginner/youth short sprint (less than 1 mile) or get your game on and paddle one of the long distance courses, 3 or 6 miler. This event helps support Gun Lake Protective Association to help keep our lake beautiful for years to come. So get your PADDLE gear ready and prepare to BATTLE!

San Sebastian Paddle Tour

Backdropped against some of the most iconic scenery in Europe - and beyond.

GoPro Mountain Games

gopro mtn gamesThe GoPro Mountain Games are the country's largest celebration of adventure sports, art and music and they return to Vail, CO June 6-9, 2019. Offering two races for SUP, downriver sprint and surf cross, this event is action packed with fun. Mirrored off the classic Down River Kayak Sprint, the Down River SUP Sprint is a race against the clock in the heart of Vail on Gore Creek. Anyone up for the challenge will run this 3-mile stretch of Gore Creek from East Vail to Vail Village SUP style. For the surf cross, think Snowboarder Cross or Skier Cross on SUP boards in class II-III Gore Creek. It’s going to be rowdy.

Great Iowa River Race

great iowa river raceTCanoers, kayakers, and paddleboarders are welcome to compete in this fun 9.25-mile race on the Iowa River! Community members looking mainly for a fun competition can enter into the recreational event, while serious racers (you know who you are) can enter into the competitive event.

Battle on the Blueway

battle on the bluewayThe Battle on the Blueway will be held June 8th, on the Calusa Blueway in Fort Myers Beach, FL. This sanctioned WPA points event will feature two distance races (7 mile, 2 mile), a Special Olympic race, a demo day, vendors displaying paddle merchandise, and non profits displaying nature / history materials and artifacts. This is a family oriented event with a festival atmosphere that brings paddling and Florida's native wildlife and Calusa heritage together. Benefiting Lee County Special Olympics. All vessels welcome.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday Race

sunday sunday sundayTHE SUNDAY X3 PADDLE RACE SERIES is a 3 part, SUP, PRONE, OC1, OC2 & SurfSki paddle race series in San Diego. Men’s, women’s & junior’s divisions, plus a Kid’s Fun Run & Relay Race, provide something for paddlers of all ages and abilities. Dates include: June 10, August 5 & September 23, 2018. The events are all held in Bonita Cove, Mission Bay, San Diego California.

Olukai Ho'olaule'a

olukai hoolauleaThe event gathers some of the world’s best elite paddler’s to race the legendary 8-mile Maliko downwind run. We offer four categories for our event. The course for SUP, OC1 & 2 and Foil will be eight miles from Maliko Gulch to Kanaha Beach Park. Our fun paddle is open to all ages and watercraft types. Prize money will be eligible for elite sign ups in the SUP / OC1 & 2 categories.

Catawba River Races

catawba river raceChoose your craft. The second annual Catawba River Races will feature three divisions: Open water swim, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard. Each race will take off separately, with the open water swim following a 1.25 mile course, and the kayaks and SUP’s following a 4 mile or 2.5 mile course.

Crossing for a Cure

crossing for a cureThe Crossing For A Cure is a long-distance endurance paddle challenge and international championship race that takes paddlers 80 miles across the Gulf Stream from Bimini in the Bahamas back to the Florida mainland. The event was inspired because of the incredible health benefits of the Ocean for those living with cystic fibrosis, a terminal lung disease. Travis Suit's daughter Piper was diagnosed with CF when she was four years old.

Morbihan Paddle Trophy Quest-France

morbihan paddle trophyEach year in June, more than 500 paddlers flock from all over France and sometimes from abroad to participate in one of the many SNSM Morbihan Paddle Trophy events: Long distance race, Derby Giant SUP, 100 meters launched Dragon SUP, Thousand SNSM and Great Walk on the water. This event has become a must for stand-up paddle and lovers of the Gulf of Morbihan.

Agios Nikolaos on SUP

agios nikolaos on supIf you've always dreamed of stand up paddling in Greece, then the Agios Nikolaus on SUP race is the perfect excuse and opportunity to head to the gorgeous nation. Agios Nikolaos on SUP includes a 100m relay race for all participants, 3Km flat water technical races, 8-10Kms amateur race and the Eurotour 15 kms race in the sea area between Plaka, the Marina and Kalo Chorio, in Agios Nikolaos, Crete – Greece.

Midsummer Viking Challenge

midsummer viking challengeWelcome to The Midsummer Viking Challenge 2019 - a unique and fun 24-hours SUP Relay Race for teams of all levels at June 22. and 23. in Copenhagen, Denmark. Each team will consist of three to five paddlers and it will be up to each team to decide how often they will switch between their paddlers, with the goal to paddle as many laps as possible in 24 hours.

Desert Orthopedics Bend Paddleboard Challenge

Santa Monica Pier Paddleboard Race & Ocean Festival

santa monica pier 360The two-day festival will offer a complete 360° of California beach culture and a $15,000 prize pool to its elite roster of paddle-boarders, swimmers and ocean sports athletes. In addition to a full slate of marquee ocean races and beachside tournaments, a spin around the festival grounds presents immersive art, music, surf history and activities for all ages. Presented by CLIF and in keeping with the Santa Monica Pier Corporation's (SMPC) commitment to producing the best and most distinctive “can’t believe they’re free events,” there is no cost to attend. SUP for Cancer

sup for cancerSUP for Cancer raises funds and awareness for Cancer Research through Stand Up Paddleboarding events. We originally set up a one off event with the ethos of 'turn up and raise money' through entry and taking part in other activities throughout the day. Since the original event the word has spread, with many repeat paddlers from all events sharing the stoke, and spreading the word.

Tyler's Dam That Cancer

tylers damn that cancerTYLER'S Dam That Cancer is the premier fundraising event for Flatwater Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides access to mental health services for those in need affected by cancer. This summer, Lake Austin will once again provide the setting for TYLER'S Dam That Cancer. It'll be another great year for a 21-mile stand-up paddle and party on Monday, June 25, 2018. Molokai Holokai Paddle Festival

molokai holokaiThe Molokai Holokai Ho'olaule'a is a 2-day festival on the island of Molokai hosted by Youth in Motion and the Stand Up Paddle Association of Molokai. The Saturdays event starts from DT Flemmings Beach on Maui with racers crossing the Pailolo Channel in a 27 mile distance race open to all paddle craft. As the race is starting on Maui there will be SUP demo/clinics on Molokai along with a Mangrove clean up service project. The Sunday's race is an 10 mile downwinder from Kamalo Harbor to Molokai Community Health Center located at the harbor. There will also courses ranging from the 3/4 mile, 2 miles, 4 miles, 5 miles, and 10 miles to the Health Center. The 3/4 mile race for the Keiki and Makua will be from the Mowat homestead.

Great Lakes SUP Challenge

great lakes sup challengeOn June 29th, join us on the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan for the first Great Lakes SUP Challenge. The 6-mile race, 3-mile race, kids race, and a 1.5 mile “fun paddle” offers something for everyone. Even if you’re not into racing, you can come to the beach, enjoy the water, listen to some music, and hang out with a great group of stoked paddlers!
