Riviera Paddlesurf Launches 2016 Catalog

SAN CLEMENTE, California – Riviera Paddlesurf announces the launch of their 2016 Catalog. We have been hard at work and are excited to introduce updates and additions to our 2016 line. Our popular 12’6” Voyager and Riviera 10’6” & 11’6” Originals have been refined. We are introducing two new SUP Surf models, the “El Tigre” and our Ryan Helm signature model called the “Whirling Dervish”.

New this year is the introduction of our Eco-Molded Blank. As a result of implementing the Eco-Molded Blank into the production process we are able to reduce the amount of EPS foam waste by 67% and increase inner core strength by 30%.

Another new design, that has been two years in the making, is the RP-12’ Prone Paddle board. We took everything that we have learned in the years of designing SUP Race boards and put that knowledge into the RP- 12’-Prone. The RP-Series SUP inspired rocker and crowned deck make the RP-12’ Prone fast and controllable in all conditions.

The popular RP-Series Race boards are updated with improvements to the shape, traction, handle, and construction. This new more stable design allows paddlers to drop roughly two inches off their normal board width and still maintain desired stability. Overall this is the fastest and most controllable Race board we have ever made.

We are most excited about the introduction of our Armor-Tech 10’6. This board is built with an extremely strong Polycarbonate shell and the inside is finished with our own top-secret formula, which makes an ultra durable board that can withstand serious abuse. Armor-Tech is great for Rental Operations, river paddling, or anyone looking for a very durable board. The 11’6” version of the Armor Tech model will be introduced later this year.

Our paddles and accessories have been upgraded, we’ve added new more durable fabrics and zippers to our Board Bags; and the BUMP Paddle has new blade sizes and now comes with our Chokehold handle. The Chokehold is still sold separately and can be added to upgrade your existing paddle no matter what the brand the chokehold fits all 29mm diameter paddle shafts.
