Play The First SUP Game And League Of Its Kind

DANA POINT, California - Stand Up Paddleboard “SUP” is officially one of the world’s fastest growing sports and recreational activity for people of all ages! Because of this, it was simply a matter of time before someone such as Orange County California resident and SUP enthusiast Justin Van Dyck created a way to incorporate team sports and fun into one activity.

Thanks to the creation of the XSUP SAC, a new sport is born. Individual sports and paddling are fun but picture yourself playing a hockey style sport on the water. XSUP is a fast paced team sport that incorporates competition, strategy, passing, shooting & scoring. The XSUP Games is a sport played by two teams of 4 players with the objective of scoring goals. A goal is scored when a player catches the SAC in the end zone that player is attacking. XSUP is original and for the first time gives individuals and teams a means to showcase and improve their paddle skills.

The XSUP Games SoCal league is now forming on xsupgames.com. All groups from San Diego to Malibu are welcome to compete; manufacturers, shops, individuals or just your paddle crew. Regular season will be 8 games, plus playoffs. Each team recommended minimum 6 players as games are 4 vs. 4. Games will be played with two 20-minute halves. We will break the league up into divisions based upon team competition level (*if needed). XSUP Games jersey, NRS Havoc Livery Helmet and XSUP SAC included in registration. Spring Season starts March 16, 2014. Team schedules will be created one week prior to start date.

*Supconnect will be posting an interview with creator, Justin Van Dyck, very soon. Watch this space...
