8.565 km. That is how far the 400 participants of the biggest 24-hour SUP relay event in the world, the Red Bull Midsummer Vikings in Copenhagen, Denmark, paddled this weekend under tough viking conditions!

After 54 days and 1,450 kilometers around Denmark, the Danish SUP World Champion, Casper Steinfath, finally set his feet on the beach in his hometown Klitmøller Wednesday night.

If all goes as planned, Casper Steinfath will end his 1450 km trip around Denmark Wednesday afternoon local time.

Casper Steinfath had experienced all kinds of weather during the first week of his Great Danish Paddle, the 1400 KM tour around Denmark on the first-ever SUP circumnavigation.
