On September 15th, 2018 East Coast and world traveling paddlers will have a unique opportunity to partake in one of the most iconic paddles imaginable: a historic 11KM race from the Freedom Tower in NYC to the Statue of Liberty and back. 4. 2018 Outdoor Retailer Takeaways

In its first ever summer show in Denver, the Outdoor Retailer annual tradeshow brought a lot of changes to the to experience of the show for the SUP (stand up paddle board) industry. Changes were both good and bad but the overall change in venue seemed to be a positive one. Here are a few takeaways from the show.

Nestled in the mountains of northern Italy’s Lombardy region is Lake Como. Surrounded by quaint villages and beautiful villas tucked into the green mountainsides, Lake Como has grown to be one of the most coveted vacation spots in Italy. Identified by its unique upside down 'Y' shape, Lake Como offers travelers miles and miles of water to explore. It is the third largest lake in Italy and its deepest as well, spanning 56 square miles and 1,300 feet deep. Read more HERE.

2. Veterans Prevail at 2018 Molokai 2 Oahu Championships

At the start of the 22nd annual Molokaʻi-2-Oʻahu Paddleboard World Championships (M2O), presented by Kona Brewing, favorable winds appeared to be creating promising conditions for todayʻs racers, but the Kaʻiwi Channelʻs fickle personality created a puzzle board of mixed swell for athletes to navigate.
