FOLSOM, California - Join fellow stand up paddleboarders on August 27th at Negro Bar, Folsom, California for a fun filled day in the sun packed with sights, sounds and tastes of paradise.

Choose from a 5k obstacle course fun run, multiple Paddle Races, a leisure paddle experience called Paradise Paddle, a one-of-a-kind opportunity at the Yoga Cove, an entertainment filled Suntan Special, or participate in all of them.

The paddle races include an Elite Race, All Paddle, Dash for Cash 200-Meter Sprint and a SUP Cross 4-Person Team Relay. The Elite Race will be held at the same time as the All Paddle, which means that everyone is invited to race; young, old, beginner to expert, everyone means everyone.

The Dash for Cash will consist of male and female heat races with elimination and no category splits for board length. The SUP Cross 4-Person Team Relay has no gender requirements and will see participants competing on a specially designed course.

No paddleboard, no problem. Paddleboards will be available on race day for participants who would like to experience paddleboarding for the first time. You must pre-register in order to guarantee a paddleboard for the Paradise Paddle.

The Paradise Paddle is a brand new event in the SUP world and is your chance to cruise at your own pace as you paddle from one destination to the next. Every destination or “Port” will provide sights, sounds and tastes of Paradise on a simple 1.5-mile loop with 4 locations to stop off at.

Each time a participant passes a “Port” they will receive a raffle ticket to increase their chances in the amazing raffle at the close of the day. See below for the event schedule and timing.

After spending the first part of her life in Minnesota, Morgan traded in her snow boots for sandals and moved to sunny California. After graduating with a degree in Communication from The University of Southern California, she eventually made her way down south to San Diego and is taking advantage of the living by the best beaches and burritos California has to offer. If it’s sunny, you can find her at the beach relaxing, or exploring the calm water in the bay via paddleboards and kayaks.
