Fourth Of July SUP Photo Contest Winners

 

SAN DIEGO, California - At the start of last week we announced our fourth of July photo contest that ran until this Friday. We wanted your photos that showed us how you were going to spend the weekend celebrating Independence Day across the US and some great photos came back. After some in-house deliberation and debates, we're pleased to bring you the results.

 

1st Place: Donica Shouse

 

Donica Shouse tagged us in this stunning photo of her enjoying the fireworks at home in Hawaii. This is exactly how we all wish we could have enjoyed the occasion - by going for a paddle somewhere warm and beautiful, with a great view of the fireworks. A worthy winner of the Aquapc, in our opinion.

2nd Place: Kasey Brogan 

Stand up paddle boards can double as just about anything - including a drinks table and foot rest for people on floaties. This fun photo from Kasey Brogan showed us the lighter side of fourth celebrations, just enjoying the elements of summer. Kasey is the proud winner of a SUP pocket.

 

3rd Place: North East Paddle Board Co.

 

We had to make honorable mention of the good people at North East Paddle Board Co. who tagged us in their celebration shot form the fourth of July.
