SWITZERLAND - Calling all Swiss Lake paddlers, the windy wave SUP season is back!!! ·The Association Swiss Stand Up Paddle (ASSUP) has been working on a new concept·and invites you to participate in a 140 day Open Wave competition format! 

Just when you thought the Swiss season was over, it has just begun.  It is time to watch for upcoming storm fronts on your favorite weather forecast website.  Once you have found a good one, go ride your preferred spot, start ripping and be sure to shoot video footage of your sessions.  Next, send a short video clip of your best rides of the day to the Association Swiss Stand Up Paddle who will upload them to ASSUP's website for the world to see!

The competition will be judged on videos sent in by the participating riders.  Each competitor will be judged by a jury and by public judging (details will be posted on ASSUP website).  Wave judging will be based on style, how the wave was surfed, difficulty and fluidity of the movement on wave surfed. 

At the end of the season there will be a riders party on Saturday March 30th, 2013 to honor the winners and just have fun.  Prizes will be given out but more details will be given on the ASSUP's website.
