ASWAN, Egypt - Carine Camboulives and Manu Bouvet are professional board riders based in Maui, Hawaii. For the last 15 years they've been searching for the perfect spot all over the world. Today, together with their two daughters, Lou & Shadé (9 & 3 years old) they fulfill their appetite of discovery and their love for nature also by raising awareness on environmental challenges. They have traveled all over the world, including trips to India and Christmas Island.
This time they take us through Egypt's natural and historical wonders, first in the Red Sea where they meet with free diving world champion Davide Carrera, then along the Nile River where they paddle on their BIC stand up paddle (SUP) boards from Aswan to Luxor. Their trip took place in early January 2015 and lasted around three weeks. Take a look at the video below to catch a glimpse of this unique family's travels as they explore the historic and beautiful waters of Egypt.
If you are interested in doing the same trip as Manu Bouvet and his family, the travel Agency Fun & Fly (www.fun-and-fly.com) is putting together a SUP trip down the Nil with a Felucca as a base camp. Check them out for more info!
