Thousands of spectators packed the boardwalk and beach on a stunning Sunday at Les Sables d’Olonne’s La Grande Plage to watch the home nation of France win their third consecutive Team Gold Medal at the 2023 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship (WSUPPC).

In 2022 Shuri Araki (JPN) set records, becoming both the youngest World Champion in his division and the first man to win the SUP Technical & Distance Races in the same year, a feat which the 17-year-old has repeated in 2023, to remain undefeated in any discipline he has entered in the ISA.

A huge day of action at the 2023 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship (WSUPPC) saw six former Technical Race World Champions crowned for the second time.
