Attending a standup paddle boarding event is one of the best ways to enjoy the sport. December 2023 Paddle Boarding Events
Last Paddler Standing
Last Paddler Standing is an endurance SUP race taking place at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, FL. Unlike any other paddle race in the world, Last Paddler Standing is a race of stamina and strategy. Racers will paddle a 3.33 mile loop course, starting and finishing the loop within a one-hour period. The next loop will begin on the hour and the race goes until only one paddler is left standing. At the 48 hour mark, the length of the loop will be increased to right at 5 miles. Do you have what it takes to be the Last Paddler Standing? This is a SUP-only race.

Chiberia Cold Water Classic
Who said Midwest Racing has to end when it gets cold! Get your drysuit ready and join us for our first Chiberia Cold Water Classic race in Diversey Harbor. This will be a quick 2-3 Mile race in the Harbor and Lagoon. Cold water gear will be required including Drysuit or minimum 3 mm full wet suit, booties and gloves. A personal flotation device and a leg leash are also mandatory. While this race will be held in flat water, Winter paddling experience is required. We reserve the right to turn away racers who do not have the required experience or equipment.

9th Annual Urban Kai's King & Queen of the Bay
Join us for a day of exciting racing and FUN for the whole family! Urban Kai & The Getaway are hosting the 9th Annual King & Queen of the Bay Paddle Race, The Bay area boasts incredible paddling waters, lots of wildlife and a variety of conditions to challenge a paddler. 2 races will be available: LONG RACE (8 miles) and SHORT RACE (3 miles).

101 Surf Sports Elves & Grinches Race #4
2023/24 Race Season at 101 Surf Sports is on with racing action in SUP, Prone, Outrigger, Surfski, Kayak, and SUP. COSTUME CONTEST - Yes it's almost Christmas, so grab your best water-safe (no cotton) costume and you could win a $25 gift certificate. Winners in both men's and women's divisions. You do not need to paddle/race in your costume but should wear it at lunch to win. The entire race series will also have an Inflatable Paddleboard Category. We are stoked on the performance of these boards and look forward to seeing lots of inflatables out on the race course. We even have a dedicated inflation station set for you to make pumping up easy. This is a perfect race for first-time racers and elite athletes alike.

Ranking Nacional de SUP
Get ready to compete against the best and be crowned National Champion in both Junior and Adult categories of men and women. You must be Ecuadorian or legally reside in Ecuador for the last 3 years to be eligible to compete. Co-organized by the Ecuadorian Surf Federation, the Salinas Yacht Club, with the support of the Salinas City Hall and the Tourism Directorate.
