Connor Baxter and Candice Appleby started off their 2015 campaign on the Stand Up World Series in style today, with impressive performancea that saw them dominate Day 1 of the Iberdrola Barcelona SUP World Series, with extremely convincing wins in the mens and womens races.
This year at the Payette River Games there was an endless amount of excitement and anticipation on who would walk away with the first place prize of $10,000 USD. In a surprising (but not really) ending to the weekend it was Payette River Games newcomer Mo Freitas who took home the cake.

Aksel Kolstead is a SUP enthusiast who has helped to jumpstart the SUP movement in Norway. Aksel is an extremely accomplished pianist and composer who had his debut in Carnegie Hall in 2010. A few years ago Aksel was introduced to our wonderful sport of stand up paddling and he hasn't looked back. Since his introduction, Aksel has been working with top brands like Naish and Starboard helping to promote SUP in Norway. Read more…
