Next Swimwear & Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Host National SUP DAY

TUSTIN, California - NEXT Swimwear – an active inspired collection integrating swim, fitness, and fashion – is proud to announce the 3rd Annual NEXT National SUP Day taking place nationwide on June 14, 2014.

Next National SUP Day celebrates both the sport of Stand Up Paddling (SUP) and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). The mission of the special day is to raise awareness of the health benefits the sport provides young people who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis (CF), and to enjoy the burgeoning sport of SUP.

CF is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of nearly 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide).

This year, SUP Day events are scheduled to take place in Chicago, IL; Newport Beach, CA; Palm Beach, FL; Raleigh, NC and San Diego, CA. At all events except the North Carolina location (private event for CF families), professional and avid stand up paddlers will hold open-to-the-public free clinics, and the public will enjoy free SUP. Attendees are encouraged to make a minimum donation of $5 to CF. Additional events around the US are expected to "pop-up" day of.
