YOLO Board Adds SUP Yoga Pro Kathryn McCann

 Santa Rosa Beach, Florida – Del Mar, CA-based Kathryn McCann recently joined the YOLO Board Elite Team Riders West Coast team. She will assist in the expansion of the YOLOFit program, raise awareness of the yoga and fitness dimensions of SUP, lead teacher training certifications and retreats and host group lessons in San Diego. She joins a growing team of over 19 elite SUP athletes representing the brand from coast to coast.

Raised in New York and New England, McCann grew up with the influence of the ocean and was introduced to SUP while living in Hawaii. A former dancer and performer, she studied with The Boston Ballet and graduated from East Carolina with a BFA in Ballet. Now a full time yoga instructor, McCann incorporates her love of SUP into her work by offering yoga classes on the water. In addition to teaching, she founded a corporate yoga business which provides in-office classes at times compatible with the typical corporate schedule. In 2012, she helped to launch SUP Yoga Teacher Training Certifications accredited through Yoga Alliance. McCann recently taught SUP Yoga classes during 2012 Yoga Journal Conference in San Diego and was featured as a SUP Yoga instructor at Wanderlust Oahu 2013.
