ORLANDO, Florida - Surf Expo 2012 is currently taking place in Orlando, Florida and began on Wednesday the 5th of September and will end on the 8th. · The Expo has been taking place since 1976 marking 36 years of bringing together retailers and manufacturers in the resort, swimming, skating, surfing and now SUPing industries. ·This is their time to make deals and prepare for the upcoming season. ·

 

Certainly the event is no small gathering.  People from all over the world come to scout out the inventory and arrive from places such as the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe and so on.  Surf Expo has indicated that on average there are, "approximately 2000 booths of apparel and hard goods and a full line-up of special events, including fashion shows, annual awards ceremonies, and demos."  The turnout often exceeds 12,000 attendees.
