SUP World Series Final at Turtle Bay Begins in 2 Days!

Here's a preview of things to come this weekend!

TURTLE BAY, Hawaii - Tension is mounting out on·Oahu's fabled North Shore as the countdown begins to the prestigious World Series Finals at·Turtle Bay Resort.··The main events will take place on October 12th and 13th.

Schedule:

Friday Octiber 11th: Friday will kick of the proceedings for the event with an athlete annual general meeting at Surfer the Bar in Turtle Bay Resort at 4.30pm. ·Event registration will then open up to everyone at 5:30pm with a Pacifico Welcome event at 6pm. There will also be a look back at the development of stand up paddleboarding with Ocean Sports legend and pioneer, Archie Kalepa at 7pm.

 

Saturday October 12th: The live broadcast on the 1st day of action at Turtle Bay will start at 12pm, with a pre event show hosted by Rocky Canon and Kaipo Guerrero, followed by the start of the Long Distance race at 1pm. This legendary long distance course takes in the world's most famous surf breaks, from Sunset and Pipeline, to Waimea and finishing in Ali'i Beach Park, Haleiwa.  The course totals just under 13 miles.

 

Sunday October 13th: Sunday will see a full day of action, with the Na Kama Kai Youth Challenge taking place in the morning from 9am - 11am, featuring a one design format open to kids under 16. The live broadcast will then start at 11am with a pre-event show and a look back at the Long Distance Race. The widely anticipated and spectacular World Series Sprint Racing will then kick off at 12pm right in front of the Hang Ten Pool Bar at Turtle Bay.
