Seal sunbathing and going for a ride on a stand up paddle board in Santa Barbara, California.

SANTA BARBARA, California – A seal hopped on a stand up paddle board in Santa Barbara, California, showing off some impressive skills of how to get onboard a stand up paddle board from the water, as well as how to have some good balancing act. A group of beginners were ready to start paddling inside of the harbor when a friendly seal decided to join them.

The unexpected part came when a seal decided to get on the board while the stand up paddler was already afloat in the water. The proficiency with which the marine mammal was able to get on the board without completely tipping over the paddler was unmatched.
