New Zealand National SUP Festival Just Weeks Away

OREWA, New Zealand - February 23rd & 24th is the NZ National SUP Festival at Orewa Beach.  This 3rd annual Battle of the Paddle style event will be an exciting two-day race and is suitable for all levels of paddlers.  

 

There will be a 15km downwind race and a 1.5 km slalom course.  The SUPSNZ website states that there will also be, "Free Workshops: beginner SUP surfing with Armie Armstrong or Mike Cann, board construction with master-shaper Steve Morris, paddle technique with James Bradshaw, resistance band training to improve your skills with Al Pagel, SUP stances with Bill Dawes, an intro to downwinding with Jeremy Stephenson and more!
