Treasure Coast Paddle Battle

Treasure Coast Paddle BattleThis race features a 10k course, which starts in on the beach, through the Fort Pierce inlet, and around to the beautiful Indian River, before landing on the shores of Jaycee Park. The perfect course to test all your skills. A 5k flat water race will be held inside the Indian River. Perfect for flat water fanatics, speed demons, new comers, and all others! A paddle village will be set up at Jaycee park where other activities, such as kids races, local vendors, food and more.

Dana Ocean Challenge

Dana Ocean ChallengeDana Outrigger is pleased to be part of the SoCal Ocean Racing Series. Our Winter Series Open Water Race, the Dana Outrigger Ocean Challenge, is held every March – Rain or Shine. Pre-register online and save time standing in long lines! The Dana Outrigger Ocean Challenge is a Junior Surfski points event.

101 Surf Sports Winter Paddle Series Race #6

hal rosoff classic 1It's almost St. Patty's Day! So grab your best water-safe (no cotton) costume and you could win a $25 gift certificate. Winners in both men's and women's divisions. You do not need to paddle/race in your costume but should wear it at lunch to win. Winners announced at the awards ceremony. The entire race series will also have an Inflatable Paddleboard Category. We are stoked on the performance of these boards and look forward to seeing lots of inflatables out on the race course. We even have a dedicated inflation station set for you to make pumping up easy. This is a perfect race for first-time racers and elite athletes alike.

Pottsburg Distance Classic

Pottsburg Distance ClassicThis is the inaugural Pottsburg Distance Classic - a 13.1 mile out and back race along Pottsburg Creek, the Arlington River, and the St. John's River. Racers will also get to circumnavigate Exchange Island and see views of the downtown Jacksonville Skyline. Lucky racers will also see pods of dolphins and the occasional manatee. This race is open to OC-1's, OC-2's, surf skis, SUPs, kayaks, and canoes, and awards will be given to the top 2 male and female finishers in each category. Register by Feb 28 to be guaranteed a shirt.

Wild Buffalo Race

Wild Buffalo RaceThe Wild Buffalo Relay is an all small craft relay race within the SoCal Ocean Racing winter series. The race includes all small craft divisions with relay teams of 2-4 people (depending on the craft) or select solo divisions. The race runs from Catalina Island, CA to the Newport Aquatic Center in Newport Beach, CA. This is a 32 mile course. All racers, relay and 5-mile course, will receive: race jersey to wear during the race, refreshments Saturday during clinics and talks, access to Paddler Symposium hosted by Cocktails and Canoes, hiking and yoga, pasta dinner in Avalon Saturday night, after party meal, and refreshments at NAC.
