Elites Racing Stand Up Paddleboards at America's Cup

SAN FRANCISCO, California - After 2 dramatic City stops in 2 weeks (Hamburg and Chicago), the Stand Up World Series is now headed to San Francisco this weekend for Stop number 7, the AC Open, integrated into the world famous America's Cup of Sailing at Marina Green.
With yet another breathtaking backdrop, the Stand Up World Series will witness the World's very best paddlers battle it out in front of record crowds all weekend long at the America's Cup site, as it all comes down to the wire in the second stop of the US Trilogy of events.
SUP World Series men front runners Connor Baxter (Starboard) and Kai Lenny (Naish) will once again match up coming off another intense battle at the last stop in Hamburg. While Connor is currently the yellow jersey holder with his ratings lead, Kai Lenny is right on his heels, with multiple single discipline wins against Connor this year and a clean sweep at the Hamburg stop of the Tour just under 2 weeks ago. One thing is for sure, it will once again be a battle for the ages, so make sure to stay tuned to www.watermanleague.com
On the ladies side SUP·World Series ratings leader Annabel Anderson (Starboard) will be met with fierce competition in San Francisco as leading US ladies will step up to do battle including Jenny Kalmbach (Naish), Gillian Gibree and Jen Lee among others. The last 4 stops have provided some epic battles in the women's division and San Francisco promises to be no different.

5.00pm: Welcome event at PUMA HQ in AC Park
Sunday September 1st
10.00am: Morning Show at Marina Green
11.30am – 12.30pm: Q&A & Poster signing at PUMA HQ in AC Park
1.15pm: Briefing for the Sprint Racing at Marina Green
1.40pm: World Series Sprint Racing at Marina Green
4.30pm: Prize-giving at Marina Green
6.00pm: Movie Premiere: the Starboard Movie at PUMA HQ in AC Park
Monday September 2nd
10.00am: Morning Show at Marina Green
10.20am – 11am: Exhibition Paddle at Marina Green
1.30pm: Celebrity and Team Relays at Marina Green
4.30pm: Prize-giving at Marina Green
