LA JOLLA, California - What could become one of the most recognizable stand up paddle events in the world will take place this coming Sunday June 2, 2013. ·With the combination of a great cause and some of the most legendary figures in SUP and Surf, the Survivor Beach stand up paddleboard event is sure to draw a good crowd!
With only about 4 days left until the SUP-port begins, make arrangements to come join the fight! Assist the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center and sponsor Genentech, a biotechnology company, raise awareness to continue the battle against cancer. Last year there were over 300 people who attended and this year will offer event more to do and see!
Here's the schedule at a glance:
6:00 - 9:00am paddlers and friends can register
8:00 - 8:30am paddle with the legends and meet some of the heroes
9:00 - 9:15am welcome speeches
9:30 - 10:30am Open SUP Race, Beach Festival, Hawaiian Dance
10:30 - 11:00am Surfing Exhibition
11:00 - 12:00 Elite Race
12:00 - 12:15 Awards Ceremony
