SUP, Surf & Sibling Rivalries At The 2016 Tofino SUP Championships

The mini-grom beat the grom as sibling rivalry returned to the 3rd annual Tofino Paddle & Surf Championships, October 21 to 23. A 13-year-old Finn Spencer beat out his 15-year-old older brother Jeffery to win the men's Pro Stand Up Paddle surf division, claiming the national title. And for the first time, prize money - $200.

14-Year-Old Crowned Canadian SUP Surf Champ

On a weekend full of highlights nothing stood out more than a 14-year-old winning it all at the 2nd annual Tofino Paddle Surf SUP Invitational. The event, held over three days at the end of October, included two days of stand up paddle board surf competition followed by a day of surfing. Both events and all categories were competitive with more than 134 entries.

National SUP Surf Champs Return To Tofino

Canada's original stand up paddle surf contest is coming back to Tofino and this time it's bringing it's big brother. Back by popular demand, Canada's most passionate stand up paddleboard surfers return to the west coast of Canada for the second annual Tofino Paddle Surf SUP Invitational, October 23 to 25, 2015.
