GOA, India - As India’s only female stand up paddle (SUP) surfer, Tapashi Devchoudhury is pushing boundaries and opening doors for the sport of stand up paddling. In a country with over 1.2 billion people, being India’s only SUP surfer is quite the accomplishment and is something to be proud of. To share her love for the sport of SUP with her countrymen and women, Tapashi, with her husband, has opened up Water Walk India, the only surf school in India to teach stand up paddling.

Water Walk India is a SUP school and rental business that not only teaches SUP surfing but also teaches SUP yoga and more to both locals and tourists of the area. When Tapashi is not running Water Walk India she is representing India at international events as a SUP athlete, which is how she ended up meeting her husband.

To learn more about Tapashi Devchoudhury check out the cool documentary that was made about her from the crew at AdventureN.com below.
