5. Protecting Our Ocean Environments Through SUP

As more paddlers explore their own local waters more is being uncovered on what is polluting our liquid playgrounds. Did you know the United States has 13 National Marine Sanctuaries? 4. How To Punch Through A River Wave on A SUP

If you’ve been spending a solid amount of time paddle boarding down river you should have the basics down. Now, you’re more than likely ready to take the next step. Here, river expert Mike Tavares shares a couple of tips for running waves or small hydraulics on a whitewater SUP. Description: Here’s a photo I took of Fiona Wylde on what was arguably the windiest downwinder she’s ever done between Home Valley WA. and Hood River OR. -a distance of 14 miles. It was gusting to 40. She never fell in and did the run in under 2 hours.
