Infinity will be celebrating the launch of Slater Trout’s new board model this coming Friday at the Infinity Surf Shop in Dana Point, California, starting 5pm. The Trout family will also likely be on hand spreading the stoke.

DANA POINT, California – Slater Trout will be in Dana Point, California this Friday at the Infinity Surf Shop for the launch of his board model through a collaboration between Infinity and Boardworks. The stand up paddle board wunderkind will also be celebrating his selection to represent Hawaii at the International Surfing Association (ISA) games in Peru this February, as well as his newly minted contract to be Boardworks’ latest Sup Elite Team Rider.

Trout has been a force in the sport of stand up paddling since his remarkable finish in the Battle of the Paddle California 2009, where he placed second behind Jamie Mitchell, the 10x Molokai Cross champion in traditional paddleboarding. Trout was only 14 years old at the time. Since then, the sup prodigy has entered multiple stand up paddle surfing, river, and flatwater contests, always with a noteworthy showing. With all of that and much more under his belt, Trout has just recently joined Boardworks as a SUP Elite Team Rider.
