Keen Footwear Adds Alex Mauer as New Ambassador

PORTLAND, Oregon - KEEN Footwear has recognized Stand up Paddle as the world's fastest growing sports by adding dedicated paddler and river surfer Alex Mauer to the ambassador program. Stand up Paddle allows the coasts vibes and lifestyle of surfing to permeate the inland states. Here is what Alex had to say about joining KEEN.

Alex is a really diverse paddler which is important to the growth of the sport. He helped pioneer the River Surf scene in Colorado, paddles class 3+ with poise, helped pioneer the race scene in Colorado and can also hold his own in the ocean.

 

"Alex is a young, ambitious and already accomplished paddler. We are really lucky to have such an all-star on board. Outside of his paddling career Alex is dedicated to giving back to the sport he loves through teaching and introducing SUP to the next generation of Paddlers," said KEEN Marketing and Events Coordinator Ben Meuser.
