BUENA VISTA, Colorado - It has been a project two years in the making and it’s finally complete! On Friday May, 22 at 7:45 pm at Outside at the Beach at South Main come see the free World Premiere of river surfing documentary Can I Surf That and follow the journey of four waterwomen (Brittany Parker, Heather Jackson, Claire Chappell, & Nadia Almuti) with an insatiable appetite for whitewater and adventure. We traveled the country looking for the perfect wave, this film is about our experience and the amazing people we met on and off the water. The waves were big, the swims gnarly, and the experience all-time! You’ll see first-hand what the sport of river surfing is all about and hopefully you’ll fall in love with this sport and our community as hard as we did.

If you can't make it to Paddlefest you'll be able to find it at Durango's Animas River Days and the Cascade, Idaho Payette River Games. Follow us on Facebook to stay updated on screening dates and locations. See you there!

To catch a peak at what you can expect from the film, view the trailer below.
