PUNTA SAYULITA, Mexico - It was an exciting and fun-filled weekend at the 4th Annual Punta Sayulita Classic, presentedby the Riviera Nayarit Tourism Board.

 

The village of Sayulita was buzzing with excitement as record crowds gathered again to watch some of the best surfers and stand-up-paddlers in the world put on an incredible display in some pretty challenging surf conditions over the March 9- 10 weekend. The SUP Elite Race was considered one of the toughest given the sizeable surf conditions the racers had to navigate.

 

On a fun note, international reggae recording artist Mishka put on an incredible beach front concert with thousands in attendance and then stuck around to play again Sunday night at the Punta Sayulita Classic awards dinner - a very special treat for the competitors, their families and friends.

 

Benefiting the Reef Check & Punta Sayulita Foundations, this years event eclipsed the fundraising goals set by the event organizer!
