3 Days Left in the 2013 Supconnect Awards

 

SAN DIEGO, California -·Did you hear that the 2013 Supconnect SUP Man, SUP Woman and SUP Grom of the Year Awards started back in September? Well, now there are only 3 DAYS LEFT to VOTE!!!

 

Originally Supconnect pre-selected 30 people in each of three categories for SUP Man, SUP Woman and SUP Grom. ·However, many of you nominated more great paddlers who have been added to the contest. ·Now it's crunch time as the contest comes to an end.

 

Each person may only vote one time per category (once for a man, once for a women and once for a grom), so please carefully consider the nominees and then place your vote.··The awards contest began on September 1st and will run through October 15, 2013 ending at midnight pacific standard time.

 

Voting started at zero for every nominee, however the winner will not be exclusively determined by total vote count at the end of the campaign. ·The selection criteria for choosing a winner is multi-faceted and will depend on all four of the following criteria:

 

Selection Criteria:

• 1. Ambassadorship: ·Conveying the cheerfulness and inclusiveness characteristic of the sport.
• 2. Involvement: ·Attending events and gatherings, having a finger on the pulse of the sport.
• 3. Performance: ·Showing proficiency in the sport, though top results are not a requirement.
• 4. Support: ·Having a following and votes to show you have some support to validate your credibility.·
