Australia’s ISA Domination Continues with 6th Team Gold Medal

Team Australia continued their reign atop the sports of StandUp Paddle (SUP) and Paddleboard to earn their sixth Gold Medal in seven years at the 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship in Wanning, China. The Gold Medal for Australia extends their win streak to three in a row and represents a historic first Gold in the event's history to be awarded in Asia.

USA Juniors Dominate & Technical Race Gold Medals Awarded at ISA China

On day two of the Technical SUP races it was Hungary's Daniel Hasulyo and USA's Candice Appleby who claimed Gold Medals in exciting fashion on the sixth day of competition at the 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship in Wanning, China. History was also made when team USA flexed their junior SUP talent and swept the first-ever Under-18 Technical Race Gold Medals. Jade Howson and Ryan Funk were respectively crowned World Champions in the Girls U-18 and Boys U-18 Divisions.

ISA Crowns 2018 SUP Surfing Gold Medalists

Australia’s Shakira Westdorp and Brazil’s Luiz Diniz both repeated as SUP Surfing World Champions at the 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship in Wanning, China. Westdorp’s Gold Medal performance was an unprecedented third in a row, putting her in a league of her own in the history of ISA SUP Surfing.
