4th Annual Standup Muskegon Event Raises $100K

Standup for the Cure, the nationwide stand up paddling event that has raised over a million dollars to support breast cancer detection, treatment and education, announced today that its sold-out Standup Muskegon event raised over $100,000, surpassing fundraising efforts in much larger cities.

Standup For The Cure Continues To Make Strides With Breast Cancer In Muskegon!

The second Annual Standup for the Cure, Muskegon, hit the beach of Harbor Towne on Saturday morning to help continue the fight against breast cancer. The standup paddle board event is organized to help support the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen, a foundation dedicated to breast cancer research. Support was strong with 540 registered paddlers getting into gear for the 5K race on Muskegon Lake.

Standup for the Cure Announces Muskegon Event to Benefit Susan G. Komen for Mammogram Screenings for Women in Need

After four successful years, Standup for the Cure, alongside its national sponsor, Ambry Genetics, and presenting sponsor, Riviera Paddlesurf announce Standup for the Cure, Muskegon to benefit the West Michigan Affiliate of Susan G. Komen. The team, led by National Event Director Dan Van Dyck, will be hosting the event at Harbour Towne Beach, Lake Muskegon on July 11, 2015 as the third location in a series of nationwide events aimed at expanding Standup for the Cure’s mission to raise money and awareness for early breast cancer detection, research, treatment and education.
