APP World Tour to Debut in London This Summer

The Association of Paddlesurfing Professionals (APP), announced today that it will be bringing the opening leg of its 2018 World Tour to central London for the first time this summer.

SUPKids Launches in L.A. to Teach Kids Environmental and Water Safety

his year, 1,798 Americans will have the opportunity to get outside and enjoy ongoing outdoor experiences, thanks to prAna Explorer Grants. As part of these nationwide grants, Environmental Charter Schools received $5,000 to support its work to engage 120 students from Environmental Charter Middle School in SUPKids Camp that teaches kids water safety and environmental education outdoors with stand up paddle boarding.

Paddle Boarding Tours In Nepal

In October 2017 a team of stand up paddleboarders embarked on a first descent of the Kali Gandaki lower regions and were treated to a spectacular adventure. Hosted by the team from Water Skills Academy and Live the Adventure Himalayan specialists, the trip provided everlasting memories. Here is a brief synopsis of the adventure.

Cabarete Community Comes Together for Master of the Ocean

At Kite Beach Cafe, located about two kilometers west of Cabarete, world-class water athletes surfed, kite surfed, wind surfed and stand up paddled, to the delight of hundreds of visitors, who came together to show their passion for the ocean, and sports at the Master of the Ocean Festival.

London Calling for Experienced Paddle Boarders

If you’ve always wanted to paddle board on the Thames river in London, a new race is being offered this Fall. The London Crossing is a 15.5 km (~9.5 mi) race for experienced standup paddle racers that will run alongside the Big Ben Challenge which is a 20 km (~12.4 mi) paddle suited best for experienced paddle boarders. Both the London Crossing and Big Ben Challenge will run on September 23, 2018.
