SAN DIEGO, California - During the past couple years the SupConnect Photo of the Year Contest has been held only at the end of each year.  Hundreds of photos always pour in and SUPers everywhere share incredible SUP scenes from around the world.  However, this year the SupConnect team has decided to take a new approach! 

 

2013 will be a year of SUP photos galore as SupConnect will be running a SUP Photo of the Month contest.  A winner will be announced  for each calendar month and by the time December rolls around there will be 11 monthly winners as well as a few hand selected winners (judges favorites) who will go head to head in the final showdown for the title of SUP Photo of the Year!

This year it is also important to use the hashtag #SupPhoto2013 while sharing your photo(s) on twitter and instagram.  The number of likes on instagram and retweets on twitter will also play a roll in who becomes the winner.  This is your chance to acquire more recognition! Each person may only vote ONE TIME per month on facebook so choose wisely. Let's all get started and have fun with the best SUP Photo Contest ALL YEAR LONG!

 

SupConnect Photo Contest Rules:

After submitting a photo(s) into the contest the public will vote on their favorites.  Each person may vote one time on facebook per month but can also use the hashtag #SupPhoto2013 to earn more recognition on twitter and instagram.  Monthly winners will be chosen based upon vote count and judges favorites.  The panel of judges will be comprised of paddleboard experts.  By submitting your photo(s), you thereby acknowledge that you have full copyrights over the image and its content and grant SupConnect the copyrights necessary for use in social media, editorial, and promotional use.
