MAUI, Hawaii - The SIC Maui Bullet X 14 Version 2 has just won Outside Magazine's 'Gear of the Year' award. Check out their April edition Buyer's Guide for full details. This makes it two for two for SIC with the Bullet 14 V.2 and the X 14, which was voted 'Gear of the Year' in 2013 by Men's Journal.
About the Bullet X 14 Version 2
The Bullet X 14 Version 2 is the ultimate downwind gliding machine. Whether racing in Hawaii, Hood River or your local lake, the Bullet-14 V2 will astonish the best and dust rest! With emphasis on connecting bumps and ease of getting into them. The V2 is slightly narrower than the original BULLET-14, however, it has enough stability to balance fatigued riders over long distances.
By moving the nose rocker forward the “entry” shifted forward as well; this keeps the board from “pushing” water at low speed and in calm water. The outline’s wide point has been shifted forward. This gives a rider enough balance to power up and catch bumps.
