Dana Point, California - The 1st Annual Dana Point Harbor Hoot presented by Board & Brew comes to Dana Point Harbor on October 12 and is a paddling event for all ages and abilities. Our mission is to promote the safety, education, training, and recreation of paddling within the Dana Point Harbor. Events include: 3K Channel Scoot, 1K Harbor Hustle, and the Baby Beach Bolt Team Relay. In addition to these three events there will be live demonstrations on the water, surf ski demos, outrigger canoe rides, live music, and lots of fun.
First-time participants, recreational paddlers, avid racers, and some of our sport's most iconic names will enjoy a family friendly environment. Entry fee is $30, $20 for youth and if it's your first paddling event. Entry includes a t-shirt and lunch by Board & Brew. Dana Point Harbor Hoot founder Anthony Vela says, “The paddling community in Dana Point is passionate about the ocean. We are excited to bring the community together in this fun format. I’m especially excited about having Board & Brew on board providing lunch to all of the participants. Looking forward to a Turkado!”
