Attending a standup paddle boarding event is one of the best ways to enjoy the sport. It’s the perfect place to be introduced to the sport as a spectator, it’s a great place to learn and try new products, and it’s also a great way to connect with those who enjoy the sport just as much as you do. Blake's Paddle the Bay

surf expoPaddle For Kids Corp hosts the annual "PADDLE THE BAY" races and festival to raise awareness for newborn screening so that our babies can be cured before it might be too late. Your support will go towards efforts of making sure that every newborn child in the U.S. undergoes comprehensive and effective screening for a variety of diseases that are usually hidden at birth. This paddlefest is not only a super fun competitive race, it's also a super fun day out for all those involved! With great music, tasty food, frosty cold beverages and a 60 foot waterslide! this paddle festival truly has something fun for everyone! The annual race is held on the first Saturday of April..

The Goat Boater SUP Race Series 4k

fcpa silver lake raceThe Goat Boater, located in Tega Cay, South Carolina is an extremely unique 6 event summer race series. This series will consist of sprints, mid-range and longer distance paddles for all level paddlers. Each race (1 per month) of the series will be different, unique and ALWAYS a 1 mile social paddle afterwards! Come challenge your skills over the season as we travel back and forth from two beautiful locations in Tega Cay, South Carolina. These locations were strategically picked as they have great high up views where spectators and family will be able to view most of the race. Come to one race or come to all. Individual awards/participation medals will be given each race and series awards will be given at the end of the season to those who have the most cumulative points.

California River Quest Clinics 3 & 4

surf expoThis is a two-day race clinic for the California River Quest. Racers may sign up for either day or both. Note: Each day of the clinic is limited to 12 participants total. On the first day of the clinic, we will learn about moving water and rapids - the biggest and most fun challenge of the CRQ (besides the distance, of course). On the second day of the clinic, you practice what you have learned and paddle a long section of either upper portion of the river. Those who have previous moving water experience but did not participate in Day 1 are welcome to join us as well.

Hollywood Gold

fcpa silver lake raceThe Hollywood Gold presented by the Hollywood Surf Lifesaving Club offers Iron Racing for elite men, women and teams over 26-mile and 13-mile courses. The order of evolutions are Run followed by Surfski, Swim, Paddleboard and Run. All racing takes place on the Hollywood Beach waterfront on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Equipment categories are Spec or Unlimited. Special thanks to Surf Lifesaving Australia and California Gold for providing the model and inspiration for Gold Racing in North America.

Carolina Cup

surf expoThe 11th Annual Carolina Cup is a week-long event featuring clinics, demos and 5 races. On Saturday, there is a 3.5-mile Harbor Island Recreational race, 6.5-mile Money Island Open Race, the dreaded 13-mile Graveyard Elite Race and The Graveyard Outrigger and Surfski race. On Sunday we are introducing the The technical sprint race through the surf, as well as the Kids Race. In 2016, the Carolina Cup was the largest race on the East Coast with over 900 paddlers competing in races and participating in clinics. In 2015, the Carolina Cup became the largest and most competitive SUP race in the world. The Carolina Cup is excited to be included in all athletes calendars past, present and future.

Morbihan Paddle Trophy Quest-France

fcpa silver lake raceThe Morbihan Paddle Trophy is a race for stand-up paddle pros and enthusiasts, three days of racing and celebration in the magnificent setting of the Gulf of Morbihan, in tribute to the SNSM Sea Rescuers. Each year, more than 500 paddlers flock from all over France and sometimes even from abroad to participate in one of the many events of the SNSM Morbihan Paddle Trophy: Long distance race, Derby Giant SUP, 100 meters launched Dragon SUP, Rally SNSM and Grand Walk on the Water.

California River Quest clinics 5 & 6
