Tower Paddle Boards Unites Paddlers With SUP Crews

SUP Crews, like this, have been formed across the US and Canada to help stand up paddlers find people who want to paddle together.

 

SAN DIEGO, California - The SUP Crew Program, backed by Tower Paddle Boards, is all about connecting those who share an affinity for stand up paddle boarding and reside in the same local vicinity. This way, paddlers can unite and share time on the water together to really create a core group of friends who share the same interest.

 

According to Ashley Hannawacker, Director of Marketing & Business Development with Tower Paddle Boards,  "The Crew is started by one SUP enthusiast -the Crew Founder- and with our help, can grow into a much larger, yet geographically convenient group. We help them recruit members and grow, as well as motivate and inspire them to stay active and involved. These SUP Crews are really an essential part of the Tower family. We treat them like part of our family and make sure they always feel like the special people they truly are."

 

Tower Paddle Boards originally came out with the SUP Crew concept in 2011 but did a beta re-launch of the program in November of 2012. Since then, the program has taken off and now has a total of 30 very active SUP Crews.  Anyone across the US and Canada can apply to found a new SUP Crew program in their area or to join a SUP Crew that has already been established.  Simply register by filling out the information here: SUP CREW APPLICATION

 

Tower Paddle Boards is excited to continue growing the SUP Crews and needs your help in doing this.  However, just remember that this is a very involved program which often runs year round (some members are even paddling in the winter snow when it's possible) and those people founding a crew should be available to the group and plan paddles on a weekly basis during the peak season.
