CORNWALL, United Kingdom - Running over two days at one of the UK’s most reliable and iconic surf breaks, Clash of the Paddle at Fistral Beach promises to be one of the most spectacular and entertaining events in the domestic calendar.

Entrants can choose between cruiser (below 12’6) and pro fleets (12’6 and above), with pro competitors gaining automatic entry into the surf sprint series. All entrants also gain entry into the monster sup racing and surf events which are sure to be a highlight of the weekend.

Event organizer Dom Moore said “We wanted to make Clash of the Paddle as comfortable and as fun for the competitors as possible. Morning rego, parking, showers, kit storage, event parties, everything is all centred around the Fistral Beach complex and the luxurious Headland Hotel. We wanted to avoid the bleak windswept car park comp experience.”

This is the first event of its kind at Fistral Beach, and a rare chance to paddle at North Fistral which will be completely zoned off for the event. Fistral and the surrounding beaches are pristine locations with clear water and golden sand and receive clean, long distance Atlantic swells, perfect for big board racing.

Clash of the Paddle is supported by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution who will be providing safety cover and the British Stand Up Paddle Association who are providing event insurance.
