SAN DIEGO, California – The 2025 EuroTour Stand Up Paddle season has officially wrapped up after seven stops across Europe, beginning in Germany with the Boot Düsseldorf SUP Sprint and the Nordhausen SUP Race, and closing in France at the Royan SUP Festival. The 11th edition of the Tour once again delivered world-class racing, featuring athletes from more than 30 countries and offering divisions for Juniors, Masters (40+), and Kahunas (50+).
The overall champions this year are Maricarmen Rivera (Puerto Rico) and Shuri “Shrimpy” Araki (Japan), both of whom set the standard with dominant performances throughout the season. Rivera’s consistency placed her atop the women’s rankings, while Araki’s explosive paddling secured him the men’s crown.
Season Highlights
The EuroTour 2025 showcased the variety and depth of SUP racing across Europe. Starting with the fast-paced sprints in Germany, the Tour moved through iconic Spanish venues — including Sancti Petri, the World SUP Festival in Costa Blanca, and Barcelona — before heading north to Belgium’s Namur SUP Festival. The season culminated in Royan, France, where oceanic conditions and packed crowds provided the perfect stage for the grand finale.
With its unbiased and transparent rankings — covering every athlete from first to last — the EuroTour remains the benchmark for SUP racing worldwide. The mix of rising young talents and seasoned veterans underscored the sport’s continued global growth.
