YUKON RIVER, Canada - On June 26, 2012 Ben Friberg set out on the Yukon River in Canada’s Yukon Territory to Stand Up Paddle (SUP) as far as he possibly could in 24 hours.

When the mission was complete, Ben had maintained a solid 10mph moving average and paddled 200 miles in the 20th hour. He then paddled an additional 38 miles in the final 4 hours completing a total of 238miles (383 Kilometers). 

Just recently a film teaser, seen above, was released titled "Yukon 383" which features Ben Friberg during his 24 hour journey down the Yukon River. According to the trailer description, "The film is a meditative journey into Canada's remote Yukon wilderness and an exploration of one paddler's desire to push the boundaries of standup paddling." 

The full film should be released in the fall of 2012 and was directed  by Brandon Ward with the music by Macmillan River Love Song, by Jerry Alfred and the Medicine Beat.
