SUP Encounter With Orca

AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Paddling in the ocean puts us in touch with nature in a way that you don't always get on land. You can technically go for a jog around the park or a ride in the hills, but you're still technically in the domain of humans. But the ocean is different - it's still wild and untamed. We're far from the top of the food chain.

This video, showing a paddler sharing a moment with a baby orca, reminds us of the special connection we can still have with nature if we're gentle and respectful. It also makes us wonder why you'd pay money to see an orca in a swimming pool when they look so happy and free in their natural setting.
