The Big Gear Show

The Big Gear Show is multi-category trade event for the paddlesports, cycling, climbing, and camping markets. It is solely focused on meeting the needs of retail stores and hardgoods manufacturers. The demo is fully integrated into the event, so buyers get to test gear right at the show. Open to brands and retailers.

Ohio River Paddlefest Races

Bring your SUP, kayak, canoe, tandem, or prone and join Adventure Crew, The Explore Kentucky Initiative and Stand Up Paddle Cincinnati at the Ohio River Paddlefest. Racers will be a part of the nation's largest paddling celebration, leading over 2,000 recreational paddlers down a closed course on the Ohio River, passing through downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. All proceeds from Paddlefest, including the races, support Adventure Crew and their work with 24 schools and 1,000+ city teens, exposing them to regular outdoor recreation at no cost to students.

Vancouver SUP Challenge

Get ready for some fun, action packed stand up paddle racing on the beautiful ocean beaches in picturesque Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Challenge yourself against the top riders in the 5km distance race and 2km technical course race! The Overall Champion of the Vancouver SUP Challenge is the combined placing of the 5km distance race and 2km technical course race.

Ta-Hoe Nalu Paddle Festival

Join for a beach party complete with BBQ, KONA beer, and paddling with friends! You can also look forward to event T's and a commemorative poster. This free event is a great way to enjoy some good summertime fun!

RAPA NUI - Power Island

Foot- and paddle-races for all skill levels! This event combines trail runs with SUP, surf ski, kayak, outrigger & canoe, prone, and tandem races. Register online by August 11!

Czech SUP CUP Finals

This family-friendly event brings people from all over the Czech Republic to enjoy a weekend of active fun on the water. There are categories for children and beginners as well as more experienced paddlers, so everybody can participate! Boards are also provided for those who don't have their own.

Paddle at the Park

The 10th Annual Paddle at the Park Sponsored by HCA Florida Destin Emergency is returning to the beautiful white sandy beaches of Henderson Beach State Park on Aug. 20, 2022! It features 1- and 3-mile recreational races and a 6-mile elite race, to be followed by awards. Kayaks and inflatables are welcome too.

Paddle for Access

In celebration of our ongoing work to protect and preserve shoreline access, the 5th Annual Paddle for Access event will take place on August 20th at the Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard! Since 2006, Clean Ocean Access has inspired and educated the community to take action through environmentally responsible behaviors, working to eliminate marine debris, improve water quality, and preserve and protect public shoreline access. Paddlers are encouraged to promote and fundraise within their personal networks. All participants are entered into the Raise your Paddle fundraising challenge and are eligible to compete for a grand prize sponsored by Gill Marine.

Tahoe Downwind Championships

The Kaspian Downwinder is a classic downwind run for the Team Tahoe Waterman crew, whenever the wind allows. Lake Tahoe is a sleeper downwind destination. The lake has a big fetch with afternoon high winds, a great combination for riding bumps and gliding across pristine waters. The Downwind and the short course invites all crafts (OC1, OC2), surfski (1 and 2-person), stand-up paddleboard (SUP), and prone paddle-boards. Because it’s not unusual to see 25+ miles per hour winds gust on the lake when one of these storms hits the Sierra Nevada, the Downwind course is recommended for experienced paddlers.
