2021 Supconnect Product Review Submissions Open

SAN DIEGO, California - With the curveball of the pandemic thrown at us this year our team here at Supconnect has overhauled our board review process. Since it's launch in 2017 Supconnect would travel throughout the year and participate in demos across the country as well as meet in person with brands to get their products reviewed. Now, with social distance protocols and travel restricitons in place we're launching a new format on our to get your products reviewed.

Instead of launching all reviews that we cumulated at once throughout the year as we've done since we fist launched, we'll now be reviewing and posting new reviews quarterly throughout the year. All reviews will now take place in San Diego, California. If you want your product to be reviewed for 2021 check out the new schedule below on submission and publishing deadlines.

2021 SUP Review Calendar:

Q1
- gear arrives to supconnect between January 1-31
- send product catalog (either print or digital)
- product review(s) to be posted on or before March 31

Q2
- gear arrives to supconnect between April 1-30
- send product catalog (either print or digital)
- product review(s) to be posted on or before June 30

Q3
- gear arrives to supconnect between July 1-31
- send product catalog (either print or digital)
- product review(s) to be posted on or before September 30

Q4
- gear arrives to supconnect between October 1-31
- send product catalog (either print or digital)
- product review(s) to be posted on or before December 31

Anyone can submit a product for review. Keep in mind, though, that our staff reviews nearly 100 products per season, personally paddling, weighing, and measuring each one of them. That means lots of staff work/paddling hours, photography, copywriting, analysis, etc. To ensure the sustainability of the review program, we prioritize reviews of our sponsors’ products, who help us pay for all those work-hours, then we move to non-sponsors’ products. There is no guarantee of when/if non-sponsors products will be reviewed. To-date, our reviews include both sponsors and non-sponsors products, capturing a comprehensive picture of the standup paddle board landscape.
