Race the Lake of the Sky Gets Ready to Go All Out

 

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, California - Last year SUP Pro athlete Anthony Vela hailed the Race the Lake of the Sky his top pick for the best stand up paddle event of the year!  This year the race looks to continue its fun and incredible allure as the organizers and sponsors are once again going all out!

 

The event will kick off on Friday June 28th with one of the best race clinics in the world where world renowned hosts Candice Appleby (SurftechSup, FCSSUP, Ocean Minded) and Anthony Vela (Boardworks Surf, FCSSUP, Ocean Minded) will share a few keys to paddling success.  On Saturday there will be a 5 mile race, sup cross events and a special event for the kids.  On Sunday there will be a 14 mile distance race, relays and of course the best “SWEET” move contest where the kids/groms often show up the adults!

 

There will be music and fun for the entire family and of course one of the most pristine and gorgeous settings in the world, the beautiful El Dorado Beach in South Lake Tahoe.
