Boardworks Surf Welcomes David Jordan

PARK CITY, Utah - Boardworks Surf welcomes David Jordan to it’s sales team. David will be managing all Boardworks Stand Up Paddle accounts in Utah, Idaho, and Montana.

 

Dave lives in Park City, and has been a sales rep in the outdoor sports industry for over 15 years. He grew up skiing, skateboarding and whitewater canoeing in New England and then moved west to explore the Sierras and Rockies after college. He currently covers the Intermountain region on the alpine ski and winter apparel side for Salomon. He is a very active skier, mountain biker and stand up paddler who is excited about joining the Boardworks team and is committed to growing the Boardworks brand in his region.

The territory he will be covering is experiencing impressive growth in SUP racing, white-water SUP, paddle fitness/ yoga, and has some of the most scenic waterways to enjoy the sport. Dave has deep roots with the retailers in the region, and will help us find the best retail partners,” comments national sales manager Ryan Guay. “It’s pretty amazing that Stand Up Paddle Boarding is hitting such remote areas in Idaho and Montana. I never would have dreamed that you could sell giant surfboards up there, but it is going off. It’s a large territory with hundreds of miles between towns, and takes lot of experience to service it effectively. Dave is no stranger to weekend ski demos, so I think he will enjoy working our SUP demos in boardshorts and a t-shirt.”
