Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge Will Kick Off The 2016 WPA Race Season

Hanohano Outrigger Canoe Club and Huki Outrigger/Surfski present the 20th Annual Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge to be held in Mission Bay, San Diego, California on January 23rd, 2016. The Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge, a WPA sanctioned points race and flagship event for the SoCal Winter Racing Series, is one of the Longest Running Paddlesport Races in California offering access to all paddle crafts including OC-1 & 2, Surfski, Traditional Paddleboard, Standup Paddleboard and Kayak.

Badfish SUP Announces The Addition Of Brittany Parker As Field/Social Marketing Manager

Badfish SUP is excited to announce that Brittany Parker has accepted the position of Field/Social Marketing Manager. Brittany has been a sponsored paddler for Badfish since 2012. In her new role Brittany will be representing Badfish at events during the 2016 season as well assisting with Badfish’s social media and other grassroots marketing efforts.

Bart de Zwart Releases World SUP Excursion Video

In 2015 SUP expeditioner Bart de Zwart set off on the trip of a lifetime where he traveled around the world in 27 days with friend and photographer Franz Orsi. The twosome flew around the world with inflatable SUPs from Starboard SUP to the corners of the world. Starting the trip off in the Pacific then heading to Asia, Africa, Europe and Central America, de Zwart and Orsi traveled to and met with remote civilizations with strong connections to the water.

Mo Freitas SUPs Japan

From rivers to the sea, racing and surfing, Mo Freitas traveled the waterways and oceans in Japan for three weeks in September experiencing Japan in all its glory. While in Japan Mo competed in a few events, took home a victory and memories to last a lifetime. Mo just released an edit from his time in Japan, take a look at it in the video below.
